Popular areas

Sunny Beach is the largest resort, with a busy summer season and the lowest prices. Sveti Vlas, with its marina, is quieter and pricier. Ravda lies between Nessebar and Pomorie, and Nessebar old town is a UNESCO site.

Prices and fees

Most apartments on offer cost under €100,000. Add local transfer tax, notary and land registry fees. Resort complexes charge an annual maintenance fee by floor area, and it varies a lot between them.

Investment reality

Rentals are strongly seasonal: the main season runs roughly June to September and resorts are quiet outside it. Similar resale apartments are plentiful, so negotiate on price and expect competition when you sell.
